Gohighlevel WooCommerce Integration

WooCommerce Integration Overview

WooCommerce + GoHighLevel

Syncly connects WooCommerce with GoHighLevel so purchases, customers, carts, subscriptions, memberships, tags, sales activity, and purchase-triggered workflows can drive your CRM automatically.

The core customer sync keeps WooCommerce customers connected to their GoHighLevel contacts. Pro adds deeper commerce automation, including product-level tags, abandoned-cart recovery, opportunities, order data, subscriptions, memberships, extended field mapping, and purchase workflow enrollment.

What you can automate

  • Customer sync: Create and update GoHighLevel contacts from WooCommerce customers.
  • Lead-to-customer conversion: Move a GoHighLevel contact into the customer stage when they make their first qualifying purchase.
  • Product tags: Apply different GoHighLevel tags based on the products purchased and the order status.
  • Purchase workflow enrollment: Enroll a customer’s GoHighLevel contact into a selected workflow when a product order reaches configured statuses.
  • Abandoned carts: Detect incomplete checkouts and apply recovery tags that can trigger your GoHighLevel workflows.
  • Pipeline opportunities: Create and update GoHighLevel opportunities from WooCommerce order events.
  • Subscriptions and memberships: Connect WooCommerce subscription or membership activity with GoHighLevel tags and access rules.
  • Extended mapping: Map additional WooCommerce customer and order data to GoHighLevel fields and supported Custom Objects.

Requirements

  • WordPress with WooCommerce installed and active.
  • Syncly connected to your GoHighLevel location through OAuth.
  • WooCommerce integration enabled in Syncly → Settings → Integrations.
  • Pro is required for advanced WooCommerce features such as purchase workflow enrollment, abandoned-cart tracking, product tags, opportunities, subscriptions, memberships, and extended mapping.

Getting started

  1. Connect your GoHighLevel account from Syncly.
  2. Enable the WooCommerce integration.
  3. Configure the customer-sync and order rules you need.
  4. For product-specific automation, edit a WooCommerce product and configure its GoHighLevel settings.
  5. For purchase workflow enrollment, select a published GHL workflow and configure the WooCommerce order statuses that should trigger enrollment.
  6. Use Sync Logs to verify that customer, order, and workflow events are being processed successfully.

How the sync works

WooCommerce events are processed by Syncly’s background sync engine rather than making the customer wait for every GoHighLevel API request. Jobs can be retried when temporary API errors or rate limits occur, and Sync Logs provide visibility into the result.

When a purchase needs to update a GoHighLevel contact, Syncly first uses the existing contact relationship when available. Where appropriate, it can fall back to the customer’s email address to locate the contact.

Product-level automation

Product-level settings are useful when different products should trigger different CRM actions. For example, one product can apply a course tag while another creates an opportunity or enrolls the buyer into a post-purchase workflow.

Purchase workflow enrollment

Pro lets you associate a WooCommerce product with a published GoHighLevel workflow and define the order statuses that should trigger enrollment. When the configured status is reached, Syncly resolves the buyer’s GHL contact and queues workflow enrollment through the background sync system.

You can also configure cancellation statuses to remove the contact from the workflow when an order is cancelled or refunded. For subscription products, optional renewal enrollment can trigger the workflow again for successful renewal payments.

For complete setup instructions, see WooCommerce Purchase Workflow Enrollment (Pro).

Abandoned cart recovery

Pro can capture customer checkout information, detect when a cart remains incomplete for the configured period, and apply the selected GoHighLevel abandoned-cart tags. When the customer later completes the purchase, recovery tags can be applied and the abandoned-cart state can be cleared according to your configuration.

Pipeline and opportunities

Pro can map WooCommerce order statuses to GoHighLevel pipeline stages. A tracked order can create an opportunity linked to the customer’s contact, and later status changes update the existing opportunity instead of unnecessarily creating another one.

Subscriptions and memberships

If you use WooCommerce Subscriptions or WooCommerce Memberships, Syncly can connect access and lifecycle events with GoHighLevel automation. This lets your CRM react to active, cancelled, expired, renewal, or otherwise relevant customer states.

Troubleshooting

If a WooCommerce event does not appear in GoHighLevel, check these items first:

  1. Confirm the GoHighLevel connection is active.
  2. Confirm WooCommerce integration is enabled.
  3. Check that the relevant product or feature is configured correctly.
  4. Open Syncly → Sync Logs and look for failed or pending jobs.
  5. If the contact cannot be found, verify that the customer’s email and contact relationship are correct.
  6. For workflow enrollment, confirm the selected workflow is published and the configured order status has been reached.

For feature-specific configuration, use the individual WooCommerce documentation articles linked from this section.
