Gohighlevel WooCommerce Integration

WooCommerce Memberships: Grant Plans Automatically from a GHL Tag (Pro)

Like the Subscriptions integration, this runs in the opposite direction from a normal WooCommerce purchase: instead of buying a plan, a contact gets a complimentary WooCommerce Membership the moment a configured GoHighLevel tag is applied to their WordPress user — no order, no payment collected.

Requirements

  • WooCommerce Memberships active on the site.
  • Syncly Pro, with the WooCommerce integration enabled in Syncly settings.
  • A membership plan configured with an Auto-Grant Tag (below).

Configuring a membership plan

Edit the membership plan (WooCommerce → Memberships → Membership Plans) and look for the GoHighLevel Tag Automation box in the sidebar. Under Auto-Grant Tags, select one or more tags that should grant this plan. When a matching WordPress user gets any of those tags, Syncly creates a complimentary user membership for them right away.

Check Cancel membership when tag is lost if access should end automatically once the qualifying tag is removed. As with subscriptions, this only ever cancels a membership the automation itself granted — a membership the member purchased or that an admin granted manually is left alone.

Existing users and configuration changes

Changing a plan’s Auto-Grant Tags reprocesses existing users in the background, granting or revoking the automation-managed membership to match the updated configuration. Pair this with the Tag Impact Simulator described in “Tag Impact: Preview What a Tag Will Do Before You Apply It” to check what a tag will do before you apply it to a real contact.
